Elon Musk now has over $1 trillion. He's a trillionaire because of his company SpaceX.
Now, SpaceX is on the stock market. Its shares went up from $135 to $161.
Musk owns lots of SpaceX shares. Now, he's four times richer than Google's Larry Page. That's the world's second richest person.
In 1995, Musk started his first company. Its name was Zip2. He sold Zip2 and started X.com.
X.com was an online bank. It joined with another company. They became PayPal. eBay bought PayPal in 2002. This made Musk $176 million.
Musk used $100 million to start SpaceX. He became its CEO and chief engineer. He developed its space rockets and satellites.
In 2022, Musk bought Twitter. In 2024, he helped Trump become US president again. He became Trump's advisor. Some people didn't like this. They stopped buying Tesla cars. Musk is Tesla's CEO.
Only 0.1 percent of Musk's $1 trillion is cash. Most of his money is in his companies.
