Taylor Swift's amazing tour - 2nd September 2024
Taylor Swift just finished her European tour in London. This year, Swift sang for 8 nights at Wembley Stadium. This is more than any singer. Over 700,000 people came to see her.
The tour made lots of money. Swift earned around $1 billion. The world tour ends in December. Swift will earn another billion dollars.
The tour helped the UK too. It brought £1 billion to the country. Cities made money too. London got £300 million. Swift's fans spent money on food and hotels. People call this "Swiftonomics."
Not everything was perfect. In Austria, there was a problem. Police said there could be a terrorist attack. Swift stopped the shows. On Instagram, Swift said sorry. But she was happy everyone was safe.
Swift is taking a break. But the tour will start again in October in the US.
