Computer looks for elephants - 15 February 2021
African elephants are big. They live all over Africa.
Some people look after the elephants. They need to count them.
But there's a problem. People can't count the elephants quickly.
They look for elephants in photos. But they're from a satellite. They aren't good quality.
A special computer is the answer. It looks at the photos. It looks for any elephants. It can count them quickly.
The computer looked at photos of South Africa. It counted elephants in Addo Elephant Park.
