This island, called Bundle Island, is not far from Karachi, Pakistan's most populated city.

The island has no human residents.

It's home to camels, fish and the wildlife of its mangrove forests.

Architect and city planner, Arif Belgaumi, believes the island protects Karachi from destructive storms.

However, the Prime Minister, Imran Khan, is supporting major construction on the island.

The $50 billion project would provide Karachi with additional housing.

Khan recognises the threat of climate change and has supported renewable energy.

However, if this development goes ahead, it is expected to create thousands of jobs.

This would provide Pakistan with much needed tax revenue.

Others have warned against destroying the mangroves.

Without them, Karachi will experience serious problems.
