Robots enter the world of fashion - 8th June 2026

People and robots are wearing the same clothes. They're in the first fashion show for people and robots. It's the Mach 33: Physical AI Fashion Show.

Galaxy Corporation organised the show. It owns a robot entertainment park in South Korea.

South Korea builds a lot of robots. The country has one robot for every 10 workers.

In the past, robots were only in factories and workplaces. Now, they're entering our social lives.

People like robots in clothes. They have a relaxing effect. People will copy robot fashion, says Choi Yong-ho.

Choi Yong-ho: Galaxy Corporation dreams of a world where robots and humans coexist and live in symbiosis. I believe that someday, humans will copy the fashion worn by robots, and conversely, robots will wear the fashion worn by humans."

Robot clothes may be very useful too. One example is robot waiters. They look more professional in smart clothes.

Another example is robots in laboratories. Clothes keep the robot and the space clean.

Clothes can stop water getting into robots. They can keep sensors safe. Clothes are easier to clean too.

Galaxy Robot Park brings robots into entertainment. It mixes AI, robots and K-pop culture together.

The fashion-show robots danced to K-pop. They had a boxing match too. They wore boxing shorts for this.

Mach 33 is making clothes for robots. They'll be in shops later this year.
