Robot models walk fashion show in South Korea - B1

Robots enter the world of fashion - 8th June 2026

Human models and robots are walking in fashion shows together. This is the first show to put models and robots in the same clothes.

The Mach 33: Physical AI Fashion Show was organised by Galaxy Corporation, which runs Galaxy Robot Park in Seoul.

South Korea produces huge numbers of robots. There are over 1,000 robots for every 10,000 workers.

Robots only used to be for manufacturing and other industrial jobs. Now, businesses are starting to use robots in social environments.

People's feelings about robots are important. We relax more around robots in clothes.

Choi Yong-ho hopes that we can live together. He's the CEO of Galaxy Corporation.

Choi Yong-ho: Galaxy Corporation dreams of a world where robots and humans coexist and live in symbiosis. I believe that someday, humans will copy the fashion worn by robots, and conversely, robots will wear the fashion worn by humans."

Clothes don't just give robots style. When a robot waiter's wearing a uniform, people think that it's better at its job.

Clothes are also good for keeping robots clean. They could be useful for laboratories, and in wet or dirty environments too.

Clothes can stop robots being damaged by the environment, or cover sensors. They're also easy to wash.

Galaxy Robot Park is a combination of robots, AI and K-pop culture. It brings robots into human leisure spaces.

The stylish robot models have K-pop dance moves. They were also in a boxing match in satin shorts.
