This NASA rover is arriving on the planet Mars.
The rover is similar to a car. NASA scientists control the rover from Earth.
The name of the rover is Perseverance. It will find out information about Mars. Scientists want to answer a question: Did something live on Mars in the past?
Now, the rover is sending photos to the scientists. Scientists are studying the photos.
Perseverance has lots of machines. The machines can check Mars.
One of the machines is a small helicopter. The helicopter can fly. NASA hopes the helicopter will find out lots of information.

Steve Jurczyk: "This mission also has technology on it. One of the cool things is the Ingenuity helicopter. It's, it's an experiment on this mission. But if it's successful, we can use it as an observation, science observation platform by putting instruments on it, and also use it as a scout for future rover missions."
MiMi Aung helped to make the helicopter.
MiMi Aung: "This is super exciting. Know we have been working on Mars helicopter for over six years, testing and carefully designing it for operation at Mars. So what's going through my mind? Ingenuity Mars helicopter is finally at the destination that it is designed for."
Soon, another rover will come to Mars. The other rover is from China. Its name is Tianwen-1. It will arrive on Mars in May.
