The fleece was very heavy. It was 35 kilograms. Heavy fleeces are bad for sheep. Sheep with heavy fleeces can't walk. In Australia, they could die.
Baarack is not the first Australian sheep with a big fleece. In 2015, someone found a sheep with a very big fleece. The sheep's name was Chris. Chris's fleece was 41 kilograms.
The animal centre made a video of Baarack's haircut. They put the video on the internet. Millions of people watched the video on TikTok. Baarack is now famous.
