This fire started on Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. It moved to a university library. The library has lots of old books.
Dan Plato is Mayor of Cape Town. He is worried about the books.
Dan Plato: "On campus is more than ten fire vehicles currently. We have three buildings currently burning sporadically and, but this one is a major problem for us. It's the library with lots and lots of old ancient valuables in the library."
University students were in their rooms. They heard about the fire. They had to leave their rooms.
