A young woman had health problems because of Meta and YouTube. That's the decision of a court in California. Meta and YouTube have to pay her $6 million.
Kaley is 20 years old. In the past, she used social media a lot. From 6 years old, she watched videos on YouTube. From 9 years old, she had Instagram too.
Kaley used these apps every day. She couldn't stop. Soon, she had big problems.

Meta and YouTube disagree with the court. But governments are worried too. They're putting age limits on social media.
