'Parasite' in paradise - 12th February 2020

The Oscars are Hollywood's big film prize. The 2020 awards show was on Sunday. Famous actors came to the show. Everyone was nervous and excited.

The top Oscar is for Best Film. 'Parasite' won the Oscar. It is a South Korean film. People speak Korean in the film. It is the first win for a foreign language film.

The film's producer is Kwak Sin-ae. She got the Oscar. Kwak Sin-ae: "I feel like a very opportune moment in history is happening right now."

The film's director is Bong Joon-ho. He wrote the film too. He won the Best Director Oscar and the Best Writer Oscar. 'Parasite' won four Oscars in total.

Joaquin Phoenix won Best Actor. The Oscar was for his work in 'Joker'. Renée Zellweger won the Best Actress Oscar for the film 'Judy'. Brad Pitt won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar. He played Cliff Booth in 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood'.
