Call a llama - 15th July 2020 View All
A new company has found a way to help tourism in Bolivia.
'Callallama.com' is a website. With it, you can have a video call with a llama.
The llama is the national animal of Bolivia. Tourists love to feed them. However, tourism has stopped during lockdown. Many communities depend on money from tourists. This app will help them. Now tourists can visit the llamas on their mobile phones.
Derren Patterson is the founder of 'Call A Llama'.
Patterson: "It's a good way for us to have some fun, bring a bit of joy to people that are stuck at home, and allow people to share in that wonder of travel, that we all need and love, but unfortunately at the moment we cannot do."
On each visit, an English-speaking guide joins you. They introduce you to the llamas and the amazing places they live. So time to travel again, if just from your sofa.
