70s superstars ABBA are back!

Abba has very excited fans everywhere. They've made a new album and planned a show in London.

The Swedish band won Eurovision with the song Waterloo in 1974. And this new album is the first in 40 years.

The album's called Voyage and has 10 songs. Manager of the ABBA museum in Stockholm, Mansa Faddaoui, is delighted.

Mansa Faddaoui: "Where should I start? It feels magical, it feels like a dream, it feels like we've been waiting for this for a long time. We [ABBA the museum] opened in 2013 and about 2018 we heard about some new songs, today I heard two of them - how crazy is that?"

Bjorn and Benny are two members of Abba. They wrote many of the songs which became popular with 400 million albums sold. They told the public about the new album and the London show. Voyage is on sale from November 5th, 2021. The 2022 London show is going to be different. All the members of Abba are in their 70's and don't want to perform in big shows.

The shows are creating Abba avatars.

But, for Abba fans, young and old, it doesn't matter if they are live or avatars. Everyone is just excited to enjoy their music again.

Hakan: "I'm knocked out! ABBA is back! ABBA is back! ABBA are avatars!"

Johanna Pihl: "I think there is enormous shock in my entire body just looking at the video when it started to roll out in its entirety of this global event and the fantastic sensation of being all together and now we're finally able to be all together in some sort of way after all this. "

The first Abba show is in May 2022 in London. And, fans are overjoyed.

Hakan: "I absolutely have to go to London to watch this [the ABBA show]. Amazing good"
