An extravagant new hotel has opened up in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, where all that glitters really is 24 carat gold.
Billed as the world's first all gold hotel, everything from the shimmering hallways to the glistening cutlery is plated with gold.
Patrons of the hotel can sip coffee from gilded cups whilst soaking themselves in golden bathtubs, or relax in the rooftop infinity pool which is, along with the showers, gold plated.
With a one night stay setting guests back at least 250 dollars, owner Nguyen Huu Duong aims to welcome not only the super wealthy, but also ordinary people in search of a little luxury.
Phillip Park from South Korea is one of the first guests to come and have a taste of the high life.
