Surfers and spectators flock to the small village for its huge waves, which are some of the highest ever surfed.
French surfer Justine Dupont has spent four winters in Nazaré catching huge waves and recently surfed her biggest yet.
The world record wave for a woman surfer is 68 feet and is held by Brazilian Maya Gabeira.
The World Surf League is deciding if Justine Dupont's wave is a new world record. The official measurements will not be announced until May 2020 during the WSL Big Wave Awards.
